Viewers can expect rewards and drops for watching Worlds 2021.
Earlier today via blog post on the LoL Esports website, Riot Games announced that viewer rewards and drops will be coming to Worlds 2021. The 2021 World Championship hosted in Iceland is only days away, and with Worlds Anthem and players arriving, the most prestigious competition in esports is just about to start.
Along with getting some incredible matchups from 안전놀이터 the world’s best players and teams, viewers are also now eligible for drops. In their post, Riot stated the three major ways to get rewards: through viewer rewards, drops, and playing Pick’ems.
When completing any of these three tasks, you will be able to receive Worlds Reward Capsules. Starting in the play-ins, you can earn these capsulates and unlock either exclusive emotes, ‘Esports Capsules’, or Hextech crates and keys.
To get drops, all you have to do is log into the LoLesports website, connect your League of Legends account, and watch the tournament. Drops are completely random and could happen at any point in the tournament. Riot specified some specific moments that guarantee drops such as pentakills. Other moments that may prompt drops include multi-kills and stolen objectives.
Riot Games also stated that rewards may vary by region, but that a large majority of this years drops will be global. Shocked Teemo was also revealed to be the last drop during the World Finals. You can get drops at all three stages of Worlds 2021, Play-ins, Groups, and the knockouts. Worlds starts on October 5th but make sure to set up your account so you’re ready for the first day of games!
